Important information for all guests

  • This is a no-smoking property. Medical oxygen is in use here. Yes, there are some outdoor areas where you can smoke.
  • A dog and a cat live here. That makes accommodating other pets an exception. There is good boarding at reasonable price very close by, and we can help with those arrangements if you wish.
  • Please give a week's advance notice of special diets, so we can have what you would like. Much of our shopping is done an hour or more away. But we are glad to be informed of what you would enjoy and what you prefer to avoid.
  • We do not have a liquor license. You are very welcome to BYOB. On the other hand, we do use alcohol in cooking, so if you abstain, please tell us.

Important terms for online booking

NB! Please review the terms before proceeding, as continuing with your reservation will constitute your agreement and acceptance.

  • You agree that our liability for double-booking a room will be limited to the prompt return of the full amount of your payment. You will hear from us within 36 hours (from the time you leave the site) if there is any problem. Should there be, we will try our best to find alternative arrangements for you.
  • For reservations of 1 to 3 nights, payment is due in full at the time of booking online. For longer stays, the first night's rate should be paid as a deposit, and the balance upon arrival.
  • If you need to cancel your online reservation, let us know as soon as possible, both by phone and by email. Contact information will be included in the confirmation you receive by email. If you cancel 14 days in advance of your arrival date, your deposit will be refunded minus a $40 cancellation fee. For cancellations less than 14 days in advance of your arrival date, we will refund whichever rooms and nights we are able to rebook, if any, minus a $40 rebooking fee.
  • No refunds are made for early departures, should your plans change after arrival.
  • For cancellations due to circumstances beyond your control (accidents, illness, other emergencies), we will offer you substitute (consecutive) nights during the same calendar year, if we have open dates that suit you.
  • Refunds for cancellations will be delayed for one full month.
  • In no case will your deliberate overpayment by credit card be refunded to you. Not in any part.
  • Apologies to our fine guests for the previous 2 lines, but credit card/payment fraud is ceaselessly attempted on hoteliers. If we (or local colleagues) already know you, refunds will be prompt.
  • If we experience a dire emergency and need to cancel your reservation, you agree that our liability is limited to the prompt and full refund of any monies received from you, along with our best efforts to find you substitute accommodations.
